1964 LBJ Metal License Tag

6″x12″ metal license plate marked “I went all de way wit L.B.J.” and pictures a racist caricature of a pregnant black woman.  1964.

Lyndon Johnson’s campaign slogan was “All the Way With LBJ.”  His opponent came up with a racist play on words: “I Went All De Way Wif LBJ.”
